On December the 22nd, the Moldova Investment and Export Promotion Organization (MIEPO) has rolled-out the final stage of the ”Generator” project, which has revealed the 4 winning startups - beneficiaries of financing for their project launches and of promotion within the pavilion of Moldova at World Expo 2015.
On December the 15th, MIEPO has hosted an event introducing the ”Operational Investment Promotion Strategy for MIEPO for 2015-2016” by UNCTAD. The Strategy has resulted out of the earlier produced Investment Policy Review (UNCTAD) and the consultation of the Ministry of Economy and MIEPO on investment-related issues. The Strategy is designed for 2 years and is part of the preparatory stage for the drafting of the ”National Investment Attraction Strategy”.
Between December 8-12, Moldova Investment and Export Promotion Organization (MIEPO), in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development and Constructions of Moldova (MRDC) and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ), rolls out the last stage of the program ”MIEPO capacity building and regional cooperation strategy with PAIiIZ”.
Between December 5-7, the Moldovan Investment and Export Promotion Organization (MIEPO) has completed the second stage of the ”Generator” project, which has been rolled out as a hackathon of ideas and IT products of practical use for the activity of textile, wine-producing and tourism sectors.
MIEPO has announced a public acquisitions tender for the following services:

The call for quotations has been published in ”Buletinul achiziițiilor publice” #94 of 28.11.2014 and is open up to December 4th.
MIEPO has organized a media briefing on November 25th to share the progress of a project of major importance for the artistic and cultural heritage of Moldova - the production of the feature film „Joc. Energy of life” by the well-known contemporary artist Pavel Brăila.
Between 16-21 November, MIEPO has been part of a study visit to Poland, organized by the Ministry of Regional Development and Constructions of Moldova and the Polish Agency for Information and Foreign Investment (PAIiIZ). The main scope of the visit was the exchange of expertise and know how on subjects as: attraction of foreign direct investment, Industrial Parks and Free Economic Zones.
